Ever thought of joining something unique, excitingly challenging and heart thumping?

Combine 2 sports into one, both canoe and polo at the same time!

If you think this is a sport just for guys, we would like to assure you that it is definitely also a sport for girls, and there are many female teams from various other institutions. So don't be afraid to challenge yourself!

If you are slightly intrigued by what this sport has to offer, give it a try and you’ll have no regrets. This is a game comprising of 8 players on each team. The game is played 5 on 5 for a time period of 7-1-7 or 10-3-10mins. 



Work and train together as a team and the possibilities are never ending! Trainings are one gym and one kallang water slot session each week. If you are interested, do come and join us!

All SIM STUDENTS CAN JOIN CANOEPOLO, regardless part time or full time or uniSIM or even age. FEEL FREE TO JOIN US~!

Currently we are still recruiting and it is never too late to join us. If you have no canoe polo or canoeing background, we will TRAIN you!

It is not weird to come join us alone, we are all under the same school!

Orientation Training for Freshies

Looking for challenges? Sick of doing nothing on a Saturday?
Join us this Saturday at Kallang Basin for Canoepolo Orientation for all SIM students. No experience required! Call Alvin (91800841) or Erica (91765562) to register.

Meeting Venue: Kallang Mrt
Time: 12pm ~ 4pm
Fee: $5 (for boat rental)
Things to bring: Running Shoes, Slippers, Clothes for water training and to change after training.

Orientation training includes:
-warm up run
-push up, pull up and sit up
-balancing on canoepolo boat
-paddling forward
-ball throwing techniques

Update on Training

Hello Everyone~!!!

For the upcoming monday land training please contact Alvin or Serene and let us know if you are coming or not. We need to know roughly how many of you coming so that we can plan our training. Do let us know if you are bring your friends or not.

For monday training, we hope that all of you will be able to come early at 5.45pm outside gym at level 4 student lounge. Do contact us if you are not sure. We would like to start our training promptly at 6pm. If you are late, wait for us at the gym. We will be going for a campus run round Ngee Ann Poly.

We also requires all freshies to join One Star Canoe Course which cost $45 and at the end you will receive a canoe star one cert. It is organised by SIM Canoeing Club, do contact Junsheng @ 90497184 or Kanghao @ 97354900. The course will be held at Kallang and it will be on 25th and 25th July (Saturday/Sunday) from 9pm to 4pm.

Canoepolo Training Updates

We are commencing our land training!!!

Date: 20th July ( Every Monday)

Time: 6pm

Venue: Student Lounge at Level 4 (Tentatively)

Attire: t-shirt and shorts for exercise + running shoes

We are commencing our water training as well!!!

Date: 25th July (Saturday)

Time: 12pm

Venue: Kallang Basin (meet at Kallang MRT @ 1145am)

Attire: T-shirt and shorts + running shoes + slippers/sandals

Fee: $10 (Tentatively)

Do get your friends to join us as well. Please contact either Alvin (91800841) or Erica (91765562) if you are coming for our training. Feel free to contact us.

SIM Canoepolo is founded in 2008 with 14 experienced players from TP, NP & SP.

We hope to spread our love and passion for this sport to more people!!

This year, we are starting our very first round of recruitment.

Do take note that with the new SIM regulation, all SIM students who wish to join all water sports club (not just only canoepolo) are to make sure that they pass a swim test or have swim cert to get exemption. If you are not sure, feel free to call us.
