Remember I told you all i gonna settle the bedok reservoir training ground? I just called the Nat team girl, she told me the court is in very bad condition. The goalpost sank and and the platform is distorted. So we should just stay in Kallang for the meanwhile. We will be hanging the goalpost off the bridge.
Things to note:
- Please wet all spray decks before you wear it.
- Please learn the proper way of wearing and pulling the spray decks..
- when training under the bridge, avoid banging boats against the concrete wall... IT IS CONCRETE WALL... so you will damage the boat.
- some acrobats do not have the front bumper so avoid banging the vampires! IF NOT THE VAMPIRES WILL BITE U!

Swimming Proficiency Test
For all Water sports in SIM, we need to pass the swimming proficiency test. You can get exempted if you have those bronze, silver, gold swim cert. you just need to photocopy your cert to mel. If you dont have, you need to tell mel and we need to organise a session with the SIM Swim club to do the swim test session. It is usually done on monday evening at clementi swimming pool.

1 Star Canoeing Cert
Whoever have not photocopy your cert, please pass to mel also!
for those who lost your 1 star cert, first u must remember where u took it from? It's either from Singapore Canoe Federation (SCF) or People Association (PA).
For SCF, you can call 6344 6337 and find Lyuina and ask her to check through the records. you must tell her when you took it or give her ur IC no. You have to pay $3 (if i am not wrong) to reprint your cert.
For PA, i think you need to google for their contact and ask them directly.

First Aid Course
The school wants to send 2 person for the first aid course... since i am graduating, they want someone who still have more than 1 or 2 years in SIM. The course will be fully paid. Please let me or mel know. Thank you

SIM Sports Appreciation Night
every year SIM will have this sports appreciation night to award those who have win in competition. Even if you did not win anything, I want all to attend this event.
Date: 26 Nov 2010 (Friday)
Time: 6.30pm
Venue: SIM LT1.10
Dresscode: SIM Canoe Polo tee with jeans and shoes.
FREE FOOD. No need to pay for anything.

SIM Canoe Polo Tee
All seniors have the polo tee already, so i need juniors all to gimme your sizes. For me (Alvin) i wear S. The Polo tee is $26. I still have stocks for the polo tee, 1 M and 2 L.
We also have SIM tshirt stock left. 2 M and 4 L. Original price is $15. I sell mine M size at $12!

Club Fund and Treasurer
As you all know that we need fund to run the club and buy some equipments. In fact the acrobats and all the equipments and storage of the boats are all paid by school. Before that we have no fund, me joseph mel we all have to pay on our own. So now we need to start paying club fund at $5 per month (tentatively we set at $5 first).
I need 2 treasurers, one from girl side and one from guy side. I need people to volunteer if not i will randomly choose. Currently, Keith volunteer for guy side and i need the girl side to volunteer 1.

Canoe Polo Rule & Game Play session
I need to teach you all about the rule and the game play. I have booked a room on 9 nov tuesday. The room is 3.22. I booked from 5pm to 10pm so from 5pm you all can go in and study and wait for the rest to come after their classes.
Do bring thumbdrive or hard disk to download some canoe polo videos to watch!
